Pocket Card
For my project, I created this cozy Pocket Card featuring the Gathering Together Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! It’s simple to make and the perfect way to show appreciation. I filled mine with a soothing cup of tea, a touch of honey, and a small wooden spoon — a thoughtful little treat to warm someone’s day.
Project Details
To create this Thankful for You Pocket Card, you’ll need:
- Designer Series Paper: 1 sheet measuring 8″ x 12″, double-sided
- Scoring: Score along the 8″ side at 4″, and the 12″ side at 4″ and 8″
- Folding: Fold the 8″ side in half at the 4″ score line, then each side panel toward the center, completely unfold and fold in two outer corner in (see diagram below), fold in 8″ side in half again and then the two outer thirds on the 12″ side inward
- Closure: Tuck the front right side into the left front side or vice versa, no adhesive needed — if the tuck is too tight, simply unfold completely and trim just a smidge off the 8″ sides and refold
- Cardstock: For the pull out I used 1 piece of Cajun Craze 3-1/2″ x 3-3/4″, 1 piece of Basic Beige 3-3/8″ x 3-5/8″, and 1 piece Early Espresso 1″ x 3″ for the embossed & punched tab pull
- Embellishments: Add a 1-3/4″ sentiment circle, twine bow, fussy cut leaves, Mushrooms, and coordinating embellishments
- Filling Ideas: Tuck in a tea bag, honey packet, small spoon, or any thoughtful treat
Tip: Choose a fall-themed patterned paper for a cozy, seasonal touch!
