Pals Blog Hop: Festive Friends Snowman Card

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! Ready to sprinkle some holiday magic into your crafting this season? This month’s theme, Season’s Greetings, is all about celebrating the joy of handmade creations. The Stampin’ Pretty Pals have come together to share festive cards and paper craft ideas using our favorite Stampin’ Up! products — each project designed to inspire your creativity and help you capture the spirit of the season.

Festive Friends Snowman Card

For my project, I created this adorable snowman card featuring the Festive Friends Bundle from Stampin’ Up! It was so much fun to make, and that little snowman just makes me smile every time I see him!

Project Details

  • Card base: Secret Sea cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side
  • Layer 1: Basic White cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Layer 2: Basic White cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″ embossed with the So Swirly EF
  • Layer 3: Cloud Cover cardstock 1 at 1-5/8″ x 2″, 1 at 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″, 1 at 1″ x 4″
  • Layer 4: Cloud Cover and Secret Sea cardstock scraps for die cutting snowflakes and trees. TIP: Adhesive backed sheets are your friend here so you can apply these like stickers rather than gluing a million pieces.
  • Layer 5: Basic White cardstock scrap for stamping snowman, color (see supply list below for ink and Stampin’ Blends colors used), die cut
  • Layer 6: This little hello sign was created using the center of the tall narrow tree, a Basic White scrap, and the hello sentiment is from More Than Autumn stamp set
  • Interior layer: Basic White 3-3/4″ x 5″, decorate as desired (my interior layer matches the envelope)
  • Envelope: Stamp snowman and snowflakes as shown, color as desired. TIP: When coloring an envelope with Stampin’ Blends, I like to stick a scrap piece on the inside so they don’t bleed through.

I hope today’s project sparked some holiday cheer and crafting inspiration! There’s so much more to see — keep the fun going by following the lineup below to visit the rest of the Pals. And be sure to join us next month when we create our own Winter Wonderland!

  1. Nothing says “Season’s Greetings” to me more than a winter scene with a snowman. This snowman is adorable! I really love all of the layers and textures as well. Thank you for joining the blog hop!
