Pals Blog Hop – Flowers in Bloom with a Simple Glass & Gardens Embossed Card

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Flowers in Bloom.” The Pals hope to inspire you with card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the Pals’ blogs are at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

Embossed Blooms

For my project, I wanted to showcase all five of the gorgeous new 2025–2027 In Colors™ in a clean, modern way. I decided to keep the layout simple and let the colors and texture speak for themselves.

Card Details:

  • Colors Used: The new 2025-2027 In Colors™ (Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, and Strawberry Slush), arranged in horizontal 1/2″ strips.
  • Embossing: I used the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder to add a beautiful, floral texture across the color panels—perfect for our blooming theme!
  • Sentiment: “thankful for you friend” is from the Thankful Garden stamp set and stamped in Secret Sea for a crisp contrast against the vibrant hues.
  • Finishing Touches: A few coordinating embellishments (2025-2027 In Colors™ Flat Pearls) bring a pop of shine and dimension to the card.

Why I Love It:

This card is a great example of how a few simple elements—color, texture, and a thoughtful sentiment—can come together to create something heartfelt and stylish. It’s quick to make, yet full of detail, and it pairs beautifully with a coordinating embossed envelope.

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit each team member’s page for fresh ideas, unique styles, and endless inspiration. And get ready—next month, we’re designing with the “New In Colors” to showcase how beautiful and versatile they are for your projects.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

  1. What a pretty card, Tricia! And you managed to work in next month’s theme as well. Adding texture to the color strips is a great idea, too. Thank you so much for joining the blog hop this month!
