Color Inspiration #1 – Art In Bloom

Color is an integral element of good design. With so much psychology and emotions attached to the hues you choose, it can be tricky to curate your color palette when designing. I am starting a new Color Inspiration series with today’s post that will hopefully jump start your next creative project with fresh new color ideas. I love color inspiration and I am super excited to share that with all of you.

Just look how beautifully these colors work together. The color inspiration came first with this card and everything else came second. For this card I worked with the Art In Bloom Stamp Set and instead of using the line art stamp, I used the filler or background stamps.

The Details

  • To give this card a smoother transition I inked half the stamp with one color and the other half with the color below.
  • The Daffodil Delight to Misty Moonlight was a bit stark so I covered it with the punched sentiment.
