Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop is all about Birthday Celebrations. If you’re looking for fresh inspiration—or just a good excuse to pull out those gorgeous craft supplies—you’re in the right place. Today, the Pals are sharing a variety of birthday-themed card ideas using Stampin’ Up! products. Whether you love bright and playful designs, elegant birthday greetings, or quick and simple projects, you’ll find plenty of inspiration along the hop.
HBD! Card
For my project, I created a modern birthday card using the Paradise Garden Bundle and Party Alphabet Dies from Stampin’ Up! I love the bold die-cut letters paired with the soft floral background for a look that feels both fresh and elegant. Even better, I didn’t let those leftover die cuts go to waste, I used the negative die-cut pieces to create a second bonus card!
Here’s my card.

The Details
- Use a low tack tape to position alphabet dies onto your designer series paper prior to die cutting.
- Use a ruler as a guide to achieve straight letter placement.
- Don’t throw away the negative die-cut pieces from the HBD letters! Use that leftover panel as the focal point for a second card. By layering it over patterned paper, the floral design shows through the letters, creating a completely different but coordinating birthday card.
Here’s my bonus card.

Which do you prefer, my orignal card or the bonus card made with the negative die-cut scrap? I can’t choose a favorite but I am excited to have two birthday cards created and added to my stash!

Keep the inspiration going! Follow the lineup below to hop through each blog and enjoy the great ideas. And next month we’re creating Male Room projects for the guys, young and old, in our lives. You won’t want to miss it!
