Pals Blog Hop: Language of Love Card with the Stampin’ Up! Hope Love & Joy Bundle

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, we’re speaking the Language of Love! If you’re craving inspiration and a good excuse to break out your favorite craft supplies, you’re in the right place. This hop is all about sharing the love through handmade cards and paper crafts, and the Pals can’t wait to inspire you with beautiful creations made using Stampin’ Up! products.

LOVE Card

I’m so happy you’re here and excited to share some love with this card created with the Stampin’ Up! Hope Love & Joy Bundle.

For my project, I designed this card that’s clean and simple, yet elevated with lots of texture and soft details. I love how the layered hearts and subtle splatter add interest without overwhelming the design.

Handmade LOVE card featuring red and pink hearts, splatter texture, and the Stampin’ Up! Hope Love & Joy Bundle by Tricia Chuba of ButterDish Designs.

This simple yet textured LOVE card is full of heartfelt details and is a great reminder that love, hope, and joy are messages always worth sharing.

The Details

  • Card Base: Basic White Thick 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at: 5-1/2″ on the 11″ side
  • Layer 1: Real Red 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Layer 2: Basic White 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″; apply Real Red ink on the diagonal using a blending brush; sprinkle water droplets onto the inked area & dry thouroughly; emboss; flick Real Red and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends as desired
  • Layer 3: Scraps of Basic Blac, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, and Poppy Parade for die cutting hearts; use low tack tape to keep dies nestled together in place for cutting
  • Layer 4: Basic White 1-1/4″ x 5-1/8″; stamp L VE image in black
  • Layer 5: Real Red & Poppy Parade for the popped hearts
  • Gently use scissors and finger to curl back two corners of Layer 2 as shown in picture above

Keep the inspiration going! Follow the lineup below to hop from blog to blog and soak up every lovely, heart-filled idea along the way. And don’t stop there! Next month we’re celebrating all things Birthday Celebrations, and it’s going to be a party you won’t want to miss. 1. Your CAS card is so pretty, Peggy! They are the hardest cards to make, so I will try to remember that the background can be splattered to bring out a little texture. Thanks for joining the blog hop this month.
