Pals Blog Hop – Male Room Gift Card Holder with Textured Notes Bundle

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

Textured Notes Gift Card Holder

I created these masculine gift card holders for this month’s hop. They are simple to make and come together quickly. I love how the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper looks so crisp against the Pretty Peacock cardstock.

I made quite a few of these for an organized swap. Can you spot the funny in the picture below?

If you spied the little dimensional backing hanging out in the top row, you got it. LOL! Those things get everywhere, am I right? Where’s the strangest place you’ve found one?

The Details

  • Gift card base: Pretty Peacock cardstock 3″ x 9-3/4″, scored at 2-1/4″ and 6-1/2″. Round all 4 corners.
  • Belly band: Pretty Peacock cardstock 1″ x 7″
  • DSP layer: Woven Textures 2-3/4″ x 9-1/2″. Round all 4 corners.
  • Belly band embellishment: Pretty Peacock & Basic White Thick cardstock scraps for die cuts and punch pieces.

We have more inspiration to share, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Don’t miss out next month as we create for the “Flowers in Bloom” theme.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

  1. Such a great gift card holder “wallet”. Your color combos are just the ticket.

The most interesting place I’ve found a Dimensional Backing…. dare I say it, in my bra! “Now you know the rest of the story.”

Thanks for the project AND the fun Tricia.

  2. Oh, Tricia, a gift card holder for a guy is the best idea! I never know what to get men and the papers you used are great for anyone. I’m using the Textured Notes dies on every card these days. I love them so much! I am assuming the circle punch rounded the corners? Great tip!! Thank you for joining the blog hop this month!

  3. Fantastic man’s wallet for a gift card! Definitely a keeper and one to CASE.
I find dimensionals stuck on my hand or somewhere on my craft table and have no idea on how it got there! Time for a good laugh!
