Playing along with Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA269) today.
I found this particular sketch to be interesting, challenging and fun. When it comes to these challenges you are only limited by your imagination. I immediately thought of the Triple Banner Punch when I saw this sketch and knew I wanted to use it. I wasn’t quite sure how many I would need so I took an entire sheet of Basic Black 8-1/2″x11″ and cut 5, 2″ strips out of it. I then cut them in half. I proceeded to place one end into the Triple Banner Punch and make 10 banners. I then played around until I got the desired design that I wanted. I ended up using 6 banners on this card. Here is my card and interpretation of the challenge sketch.
You may have noticed that I generally make a matching envelope and inside as well. I usually do not stamp a sentiment on the inside when making them. I wait until I am going to use it before adding the sentiment as that makes it quick and easy. If you are worried about forgetting the colors you used, simply add a sticky note with them on it as a reminder.
Keep Creating!
Tricia
Here is today’s supply list (Note that these stamp sets also come as a bundle which will save you 15% so I have given both options even though I just used the stamps):
