Pals Blog Hop – All Creatures Great and Small with Nests of Winter

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is “All Creatures Great and Small.” We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Nests of Winter Zig Zag Fun Fold Card

I wanted to create a fun fold card that was easy and showcased the lovely Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. I chose one of the beautiful birds as my “creature” for this month’s hop theme.

Here’s a closer look. Notice that the Coastal Cabana DSP piece is located in the middle panel on the opposite side of the Basic White piece below.

The Details

  • Card Base – Pebble Path Cardstock | 5-1/2″x11″, score at 4-1/4″ and 8″ on the 11″ side
  • Die Cut – 1 bird of choice from the Nests of Winter DSP and 3 leaf sprigs (1 in Garden Green and 2 in Shaded Spruce)
  • Sentiment – I used the Pebbled Path Stampin’ Write Marker to apply color directly to the stamp which allowed me to select the Thinking of You portion only of the sentiment
  • See picture below for all additional pieces, measurments and cutting instructions

There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. We hope you will come back for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “Orange Theory.”

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

  1. Beautiful fun fold card, Tricia! I haven’t seen this one before and might have to try it. Your sweet bird is too cute with those pretty papers. Thank you so much for joining the blog hop this month!
