Pals Blog Hop – Summer Vacation with the Lily Pond Lane Suite

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Summer Vacation. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Panoramic Fun Fold Card

These darling ducks from the Lily Pond Lane Suite certainly look like they are on summer vacation so I used them to create this panoramic fun fold card.

Look how fun this card is when you open it! A beautiful scene and room to write a short message.

See The Details section below to get all the measurements to create your own panoramic fun fold card.

The Details

  • Card Base – Pretty Peacock Cardstock | 5-1/2″x8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
  • Cardstock Pieces – Peach Pie Cardstock | 1 at 4″x4″ (front), 1 at 1-7/16″x8-1/4″ (inside strip to adhere panels to – see above), 4 at 1-5/8″x4-3/8″ (inside panels) and Basic White | 1 at 1-1/2″x4-1/4″ (stamped inside piece – see above)
  • Designer Series Paper Pieces – Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper | 2 at 3-7/8″x3-7/8″ (dotted piece and duck piece for front), 3 at 1-1/2″x4-1/4″ (scenic piece cut and kept in order – see above)
  • Take the Peach Pie 1-7/16″x8-1/4″ piece and fold it in half, then fold each side out to the middle. You will end up with a W shape.
  • Center the W on the 5-1/2″ side of the card base inside with the center of the W facing upwards away from the center crease of the card base. When adhering the W to the inside of your card make sure you are only applying adhesive to the two outside areas only.
  • Layer the 3 DSP pieces and Basic White piece on to the 4 Peach Pie pieces to create the inside panels. When adhering these, make sure you only apply adhesive where needed. The 2 middle scene pieces will only have a small amount in the center where they are attached to the horizontal peach pie strip as they pop up.

There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be All Creatures Great and Small.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.

  3. I’ve been on the fence with this suite, but this card has convinced me to take the plunge. I love the combination of the darker base with the bright colors of the DSP. Beautiful!
