Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is our Favorites from the New Catalog. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My Favorites
Let’s be honest, I have a LOT of favorites from the new catalog, so I chose a little differently for this month’s theme. My favorite from the new catalog is the “options” Stampin’ Up! gave us this go round in terms of being able to choose a die or punch option with select bundles. I love that they did this SO much and I hope that they do this again in the future! I paired the Labeled With Love punch with the Botanical Beauty and Round We Go stamp sets for my card. I stepped it up a notch using the baby wipe technique to create the beautiful variegated colors.
The Details
- Technique – I used the baby wipe to create the background and fussy cut flowers and leaves with the Botanical Beauty stamp set. Take your favorite reinkers (3-4 colors) and drop randomly (but not on top of each other) onto a fresh baby wipe. You’ve just created your very own ink pad! Make sure to have plenty of Fluid 100 watercolor paper or thick cardstock pieces cut because you’ll definitely want to keep using the ink until it’s gone.
- Colors – Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, Bleberry Bushel
- Punch – Labeled with Love
- Sentiments – Round We Go stamp set
- Embellishments – Opal Rounds Assortment
We have even more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Summer Vacations.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
