Pals Blog Hop – Flowers in Bloom: A Floral Vignette Card Trio

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s Flowers in Bloom theme couldn’t be more perfect for the month of May when everything starts to feel alive again! From soft petals to bold blooms, today’s projects are packed with fresh floral inspiration to help you create something beautiful. Whether you love clean and simple designs or layers of color and texture, you’re going to love hopping along with us!

Floral Vignette Card Trio

For today’s hop, I created a soft and elegant Floral Vignette card trio featuring layered blooms, geometric angles, and a dreamy monochromatic palette in Hydrangea Hue and white. I love how the floral images frame the sentiment while the patterned background pieces add movement and interest without overwhelming the design.

I especially love how versatile this sketch is, perfect for showcasing florals, favorite patterned papers, or even seasonal themes. Creating several cards at once also makes this design ideal for quick card sets or gift giving!

The Details

  • Floral Vignette Stamp: I used my Take Your Pick Tool along with the blade from the Crafter Tips to carefully cut apart the center floral image from the outer oval design. It was easy to do and I now can work with them idependently or together. In this case I just used the center floral image.
  • Stack & Shuffle: I used 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper and then 3 pieces of Basic White where I stamped the floral image in lieu of that 3 piece of DSP. All the same size.
  • Fussy Cut: Stamp 3 additional floral images on a scrap piece of Basic White and fussy cut the 3 flowers and 3 leave sprigs.

Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us today! We hope our Flowers in Bloom projects brought you lots of creative inspiration. Next month we’ll be sharing projects featuring the NEW In Color family, and we can’t wait to show you just how amazing these fresh new colors are.

  3. Tricia, this set of cards is beautiful. Hydrangea Hue is probably my favorite color of all times. My favorite shade of blue. Thank you so much for showing us your “Stack & Shuffle” cards.
