Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Random Acts of Kindness. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Tea & Honey RAK Gift
I love creating little random acts of kindness gifts almost as much as I love gifting them. Nothing better than randomly brightening someone’s day! For today’s blog hop I created this pretty tea and honey RAK gift. You can pack a lot of thoughtfulness and love into a few small pieces of paper.
The Details
- Designer Series Paper – Seasons of Elegance | 4″ x 8″, score at 4″ on the 8″ side and 1/2″ and 3-1/2″ on the 4 ” side | Splendid Autumn | (2) at 4″x6″, score at 3″ on the 6″ side and 1/2″ and 3-1/2″ on the 4 ” side. See pictures below.
- Cardstock – Basic Beige and Blackberry Bliss | scrap pieces for die cutting
- Die Cut – Die cut using the cardstock pieces using the Peaceful Season Dies.
- Stamp – Stamp as shown below using the Peaceful Season Stamp set onto the Basic Beige die cut piece using Moody Mauve and Blackberry Bliss.
- Stamp & Emboss – Stamp Peaceful Season sentiment with VersaMark and emboss using gold embossing powder.
- Fold & Adhere – Apply adhesive and fold as shown below. Fold in the 1/2″ sides on all (3) pieces of Designer Series Paper to create pockets. The (2) smaller pockets get adhered to the outside of the taller pocket using one strip of Tear & Tape adhesive.
- Adhere – Take a piece of Blackberry Bliss and Gold Ribbon and thread it through the back of the Basic Beige stamped die cut piece as shown below. Make sure to cut the ribbon long enough to wrtap around the entire gift and the spoon handle.
- Embellish – Add embellishments as desired
- Fill – Fill your (3) pockets with goodies. I have (2) tea bags (1 in each of the smaller outside pockets), honey (large center pocket), and a reusable wooden spoon (large center pocket) in mine.
I hope you enjoyed my project and will give it a try!
